Our Mission

Ekho Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to bridging early childhood education disparities in high and low-income households in India. We believe that every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of their family's financial situation. By partnering with central and state governments, we aim to provide equal educational opportunities for all children in India.

How We Work

The Ekho bot regularly sends learning activities, games, and homework assignments - which parents can facilitate even with limited education - to the WhatsApp groups. For example, besides simple literacy and numeric questions, assignments involve separating different lentils, taking a hundred steps, and identifying different colors and shapes. Parents respond by having their children send answers to quizzes and share videos of their children performing the activities and tasks.

Ekho Foundation uses a unique artificial intelligence and machine learning system to recognize parents' and children's efforts through incentives like social campaigns, leaderboards, social influencers, customized video collages, and celebratory nudges on WhatsApp groups. The carefully curated technology enables dynamic growth and response analysis with quick feedback and personalized learning.

Our Approach

We leverage low-cost technology to provide innovative solutions for early childhood education. Our programs are designed to be accessible to all children, regardless of their geographic location or socio-economic status. Our program model involves providing educational resources to parents, training Anganwadi workers, and creating systemic change by driving policies at the national level.

Our Programs

We offer a range of programs for early childhood education, including teacher training, curriculum development, and school improvement initiatives. Our programs are evidence-based and have been proven to improve learning outcomes for children.

Our Impact

Since our inception, we have reached over 15,00,000 parent and children in India and have trained over 60,000 teachers. Our programs have been integrated into the Anganwadi system in 8 Indian states, ensuring that our impact is sustainable and long-lasting.

Join Us

We believe that education is a fundamental right for all children. Join us in our mission to bridge early childhood education disparities in India and provide equal educational opportunities for all children.
