Our Story

Ekho Foundation was founded in response to the significant disparities in early childhood education that exist in India. Our team of education experts and technology professionals came together to address this critical issue and create innovative solutions to improve access to quality education for all children. We partner with governments, schools, and community organizations to ensure that our programs are effective and sustainable. We believe that every child deserves a strong start in life, and we are committed to making that a reality.

Experienced Leadership

Azeez Gupta

Azeez started his career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company before moving to Pratham, where he managed a $8MM portfolio and a team of 1200 employees. An alum of IIT Delhi and Harvard Business School, Azeez was a Goldsmith Fellow, Education Innovation Fellow, and received the Rajindra Malhotra Memorial Prize. In 2021, he was nominated as BusinessWorld’s 40 under 40 Disruptor and Microsoft Global Social Entrepreneur. Currently, he also serves on the Indian govt’s ECCE taskforce and UNESCO’s core group.

Utsav Kheria

Utsav founded and scaled EduBridge, a livelihoods social enterprise with a $7MM budget and 500 employee team. He also co-founded Kickstarters, a multi-sports program for kids between the age group of 3-10. An alum of St. Xavier’s, Kolkata and IIM Ahmedabad, Utsav made it to BusinessWorld’s 40 under 40 Disruptor list, and has extensive operations, tech and management experience.
